Shot and Dropped!

What a way to start the week! Major drama has ensued on Y&R:

Shot- True to form, Patty has done it again! Didn't I tell you Genevieve and Jack wouldn't get married? Patty foiled the ceremony in the most devious of ways by stealing the bride's wedding dress, walking down the aisle, and shooting the groom. I had no clue Jack's wedding ceremony would get so violent and I can't wait to see what happens next. Despite the shooting and Beauty of Nature deal, do you think Genevieve and Jackie will eventually get hitched?

Dropped- Adam drops like a fly after Patty throws insecticide in his face, blinding him. Patty has pulled out all the stops in her crazy master plan and now Adam is in a hospital bed without a clue about his recovery. Bad, bad Patty! Of course, she had to visit a church to pray on it. Will Patty's prayers be answered and will she evade Paul, Ronan, and the cops?
Like her sweetheart Adam, Sharon was also dropped-- by Victor. It didn't take but a split second for old Vic to give Sharon those annullment papers. Of course, Victor delivered those papers with the classic line, "I'll always adore you." Who wants that kind of adoration? Maybe Sharon will make some smarter decisions when choosing her future husbands.

Eeeevil!- Ricky Williams is his mother's son! I'm convinced now that this character is more like his evil mother (Isabella, aka Eva Longoria) than his dad, Paul (Doug Davidson). Ricky finds Patty hiding out in a church attic then starts provoking her in the hopes that she'll continue causing trouble for Jack (now in surgery due to the shooting). Patty's hide-out, incidently, is the same church where her other brother, a priest works. Diabolical!

Ba-dow!- Nikki  (aka Melody Thomas Scott) looked amazing in a fuschia high-collared dress and amethyst jewels. I couldn't possibly end this Y&R update without mentioning the styling. Major points to the wardrobe department on this one!

***Bold and the Beautiful Alert***

For those of you who follow the LA drama:

Dropped- Dollar Bill Spencer was dissed and dismissed when Liam took off the sword. That's right! Liam took off that handy-dandy man jewelry, protesting Bill's latest dastardly deeds. After a confrontation with his father, Liam got some backbone and told Bill to step off. Liam will make his own decisions, beginning with his choice to officially separate from Steffy. All of this happens as Liam praises Hope's honesty and her sterling virtues. Young Liam also admits his love for Steffy and his wife (but he makes it obvious that Steffy is not "the one"). Steffy decides to move out of her home to give Liam space.

Schemes and Disses

Ronan hatches a plan with Phyllis- Nov. 14 preview

Strange Bedfellows- Ronan asks Phyllis to be a "rat" and do some information gathering for the Jenkins murder case. Uh, ok. Ronan shouldn't trust Phyllis as far as he can throw her. He shouldn't tell Phyllis secrets and then actually expect her to keep them....'cause she's allergic to that kind of thing.

Meanwhile, Avery volunteers to be Nick's lawyer to "take the heat off" him in the investigation. I guess the phrase "conflict of interest" means nothing here.

Krazy with a "K"- Patty is back and still psycho. Why in the world, by the way, would Jack NOT change his locks after the last encounter with her? I say it won't be long before Patty creates some sort of life-threatening "accident" involving Jack's girlfriend.

The Royal Kiss-off- Devon disses his father in royal fashion by keeping it real with Ashley-- he's not attending the wedding. Of course it would be interesting if Devon showed up anyway (as Abby's "plus one," of course).

Unknowingly following his son's example, Tucker dismisses Kay. Also not surprising, but I think Tucker needs a "check-up from the neck up" if he thinks Devon will warm up to him.

This Episode's Memorable Moment:
Adam's conversation with Patty. Michael Muhney does a bang up job of emoting, especially after Patty walks off. Just by looking at his face, you can hear Adam thinking, "Why did I ever break that looney out of the looney bin?"
